Hypnosis is not new to the field of sports, and has been used for many years with professional athletes in a variety of sports – to name a few high profile athletes, Carl Lewis, Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Andre Aggasi, Novak Djokavic, Andy Murray, Raphael Nadal, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jonny Wilkinson, Greg Norman, and many more… including many Australian, USA, Russian & GB Olympian medal winners…

Hypnosis works at the subconscious level of mind – where as many modalities work on the conscious level, Hypnosis can enhance your ability to perform at a higher level by removing doubts, negative thoughts, self talk, negative beliefs, anxiety and emotional patterns that may be affecting an individual with their ‘Mental Game’ decision making and moving forward to get more out of themselves.

The Hypnosis Session

Your session will begin by discussing what you want to achieve in your sessions.

  1. You will go through some goal setting to set up a direction of focus.
  2. You will then be gently guided into a level of trance by your Sports Hypnotist – once deep enough he will begin using hypnotic suggestions with you as your sub conscious mind becomes engaged and will begin working towards your outcome…
  3. You may be asked to converse during your session which is completely normal during the hypnosis process.
  4. The Sports Hypnotist will also guide you through any issues you may be having, creating a new level of awareness and understanding at the sub conscious level whilst gaining confidence and eliminating any past fears that may associate and maybe hindering any actions to move forward freely. 
  5. During your hypnosis session you will more likely feel a little sleepy but you will NEVER lose consciousness – HEAR everything and will ALWAYS be in control of your state, of which you can end the session at anytime.
